2023/2024 Gun Raffle Information

Sons of the American Legion Squadron 297 Weekly Gun Drawing: The drawing will be held every Monday night at 7 PM, starting on Memorial Day and run for 52 weeks. Each week we will draw both a First and Second place prize winner. The first-place prize winner will receive a choice of $550.00 voucher  redeemable at the Gun Shack in St Clair MO OR $500.00 cash. The voucher must be redeemed within 90 days. The second-place prize winner will receive a cash prize of $100.00.

Donation of $100.00 per ticket:  No more than 650 tickets will be sold. Ticket holder can win up to two first place prizes; and an unlimited number of second place prizes per ticket. All first-place vouchers will be written to the person whose name is on the winning ticket. This voucher can be used towards the purchase a gun of your choice (IAW Federal and State Laws), ammunition, or accessories sold at the Gun Shack. The voucher cannot be redeemed for cash. First place prize winners from outside the area or out of state can make arrangements to have a check sent to them instead of a voucher. Squadron 297 will have the final say in any disputes that may arise.

Early Bird Drawing and Ticket Turn-in:  All tickets returned by April 30th will be eligible for an additional First Place prize. All remaining tickets should be turned in by May 23rd, 2023 to be eligible for all 52 drawings. Tickets turned in after Memorial Day will only be eligible for the remaining number of drawings at the time of turn in.

Sons of the American Legion Squadron 297:  The Sons of the American Legion membership is made up of sons, grandsons, and even great and great-great grandsons of military veterans who have served this great nation proudly during times of war and times of peace. This gun raffle is one of our major fundraisers that allows us to fund various veterans’ projects; various local community charities and youths; and scholarships for our young men and women within the American Legion family.
